Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is a TV presenter, record artist, and businesswoman. Her achievements have been numerous throughout her career. Her film work has led to her nominated for 8 PMPC Star Awards in the Films category, and the two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis was in the roles of Hiram Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she portrayed the Komiks legendary character Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host on the popular noontime variety show It's Showtime (2009-2020). Anne Curtis is a Filipina Australian actress, model and television host. Her achievements include a host of accolades in her career. Two FAMAS Awards have been given to Curtis. She also is a Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. Additionally, she was nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards and eight PMPC Star Awards in the Movies. Curtis starred in several television shows, including Hiram (2004-2005) Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). In 2014, Curtis played the legendary Komiks Dyesebel character on Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. The show also featured her as host in the late afternoon (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith, an Australian attorney. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father was married to Ojales on the 29th of October, 1982. Her younger sister Jasmine has also become an actor. Their father's side had a half-sister called Clare who died in 2007 due to a heart disease when she was four months old.
