Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She currently competes within the UFC Flyweight division. She is the older sister of fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the event and beat Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina followed it up and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008 a gold medal in 2011 and the year-end 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia's professional debut came in 2003. She won in 2012 the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship In 2016, she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was a unanimous one. Antonina Shevchenko broke her professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She was victorious via second-round TKO and also won her subsequent two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass a record of 3-1. Shevchenko went on a hiatus from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and made her comeback with Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. The promotion ended in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018.
